Last December Detroit community site 'Detroiturbex' released now & then images discovered in the Lewis Cass Tech High School. Now demolished, the photos showcase the derelict school contrasted to its vibrant past of cheerleaders, basketball players and the string band. Probably one of the most amazing exhibits/truths of awareness I've seen. Really sad yet really amazing.

The population in the last 100 years saw the most extreme rise and fall of any US city, soaring from about 450,000 in 1910 to over 1.8 million in 1950, and falling back to less than half of that now.
