CITY ANGELS
I'm listening to these LA beauts currently. All female musicians hailing from the heavenly California city have been described by Nylon as 'Throaty 70's rock' who are sort of against working with dudes. Fair play. If they can create a unique, talented spectrum of new music to our ears, why bring the testosterone into it? These girls play their instruments well. I'm liking so many all girl bands from over the pond right now. Vivian Girls, Dum Dum Girls, The Coathangers and now these babes. We really lack this folky, vintage sound in the kingdom.
