I knew she had been hiding somewhere, Agyness Deyn features in this promo campaign for Dr Martens which I think is pretty nice. Stern fans have highlighted that the video hardly introduces the classic footwear, yet focuses solely on Deyn with this American road trip and it's trashy motel setting; subjecting it away from the British roots. However, I see the short film as DM are representing her as the muse, an inspiration and an example of someone who praises the footwear brand. Dr Martens don't try and be something they are not, they will always hold this nostalgic and youthful appeal and Agy still represents this rebellious and teenage spirit which is the brands aesthetic and they couldn't have chosen anyone better as the focus. After appearing in two campaigns for the footwear giant already, it's fair to say she's doing them good. I met Agy backstage a couple of years ago at one of Henry Hollands shows and she was such a sweetheart, dancing everywhere with this little peroxide pixie cut, she wasn't sugarcoated in fame, just completely cute and a genuine character.
